Founded in late ‘97 by percussionist / vocalist / sonic sculptor, Barry Bennett; MiLkBabY celebrates it's TENTH YEAR as a music making entity in 2007 with the release of MiLkBabY's 5TH FULL LENGTH ALBUM, "BottLe" on Uvulittle Records (http://uvulittle.com). The album mainly features tracks from MiLkBabY’s latest live incarnation, a rocking psychedelic trio with Bennett; bassist / guitarist, Darren Shepherd ( belmondos, trans alarm ); and Sophie Senard (belmondos) on accordian, vocals, thai gongs and whatever else she can get her little french hands on. The album will also features some performances from "classic" MiLkBabies, David Lee Smith and Tracee Westmoreland, who did sessions with Bennett in Chicago while visiting from Berlin and Brussels repectively. "BottLe" is MiLkBabY's best work to date. Having been features on WXRT's Local Anesthetic, it looks to stand tall in MiLkBabY's impressive body of work that includes numerous theatre and dance scores in addtion to MiLkBabY's previous 4 albums. In the meantime, look for MiLkBabY to keep bringing their legendary transcendental live shows to their diverse grassroots following.
